The NDIS puts you at the center of decision-making, allowing you to choose the providers and services that best suit your requirements. • Am I eligible for NDIS funding?

You may be eligible for the NDIS if you:

    • are under 65 years of age when you first use the scheme
    • have a disability that is likely to be permanent and stops you from doing everyday things.

  • How do I apply for the NDIS?

If you have any queries about the NDIS, you can call People with Disability Australia's (PWDA's) Information, Intake and Referral Service on 1800 422 015 or contact Manager Your Plan to take you through applying.

  • How can the NDIS help with home modifications?

The NDIS can pay for changes to your home if it doesn't work well for your disability. You can get this in your NDIS plan. They might also help you find a new place to live if needed.

  • What's the NDIS early intervention program for children with disability?

Kids under 7 with a disability or delay in development can get help from the Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) program. This helps them do everyday things.

  • What can I do if it's been ages since I applied for the NDIS?

If your NDIS application is taking a long time, there are things you can do to make it go faster. Call PWDA at 1800 422 015 for help, and email: MyNDIS@ozplanhub.com.au Manage Your Plan to follow up too.

  • What do I do if my NDIS supports go wrong?

The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (QSC) makes sure services are fair. If you feel that the services you received were not safe, respectful, or up to the required standard, you can call the QSC at 1800 035 544 to lodge a complaint. They cover all states except WA until Dec 2020.

Additionally, MYP is prudent with providers and support coordinators, and if at any time you believe you are not receiving the services you should be, or if the quality of service is not meeting your expectations, MYP is here to help you.
